Mounjaro Missed Dose
If It’s 4 Days or Less
If you remember within 4 days of your missed dose, you should take the injection as soon as possible.
If It’s More Than 4 Days
If more than 4 days have passed, skip the missed dose and wait until your next scheduled injection.
Important
Do not take two doses close together. There should be at least 3 days between injections.
Wegovy Missed Dose
If It’s 5 Days or Less
If you remember within 5 days, take the missed dose as soon as possible.
If It’s More Than 5 Days
If more than 5 days have passed, skip the missed dose and take your next injection as planned.
Important
Do not double your dose to make up for a missed injection.
What Not To Do
- Do not take two injections at once
- Do not take doses too close together
- Do not guess — follow the timing rules
When Does a Missed Dose Become a Restart?
If you miss more than one dose or have a longer break in treatment, it may be safer to treat this as restarting rather than simply continuing.
